Palasa 1978  is a rustic periodic drama set up in the 70s background, in which  Rakshit and Nakshatra played the lead roles and the movie was  released on 6th March 2020. The movie Palasa 1978   received positive response by the movie lovers and critics on its opening day. The film Palasa 1978   is about the low caste versus high caste power in village of Srikakulam district and how the lower caste people starts revolution. Tammareddy Bharadwaj, who presented the periodic drama Palasa 1978, which is based on the true incidents that took place in the Srikakulam district in AP, urged the Dalit communities to come and watch this film.

Tammareddy Bharadwaj added, “I have made several film and felt bad when people didn’t show any interest to watch the movie. The people ask for good movies with good ratings, and this film Palasa 1978  is made for the Dalit community.”

Palasa 1978   is helmed by Kirana Kumar and is produced by Dhyan Atluri whereas  the film has the music by Raghu Kunche. Though the movie Palasa 1978 received applause for the content but the collections rate of the film is not up to the mark.
