Mr Sateesh Vemuri– The candidate for the position of Secretary has been charged by complaint, with one count of conspiracy to commit visa fraud by US Department of Justice.
The US Department of Justice alleged, Mr Sateesh Vemuri conspired with 3 New Jersey men to bring the foreign workers into the US in the years 2015 and 2016 by using the faked documents to obtain H-1B visas.
According to the documents filed in the case and statements made in court, Sateesh Vemuri and two other men controlled two IT staffing companies located in Middlesex County, New Jersey — Procure Professionals Inc. and Krypto IT Solutions Inc.
He was charged with conspiracy to commit visa fraud, and face maximum penalties of five years in prison and $250,000 fines. Sateesh was arrested and was later released on USD 250,000 bond. The case is still pending in New Jersey District Court (Case # 2:19-nj-03272) and is awaiting judgment.
Mr Ashok Kolla: The candidate for the position of Treasurer Mr Ashok Kolla has a case filed against him in India. A criminal case (Case# 57/2020) has been filed by Mr Srinivasa Rao Pucchakayala, in SR Nagar Police Station of Hyderabad, Telangana, India on 17th January, 2020. According to the complainant, Mr Ashok Kalla took him to the US to process a work permit and offered one year job guarantee. Later he found that Ashok Kalla is running an unauthorized employment and treats the employees like slaves. He used to blackmails the employee by holding their passports. He also said that in his absence, Ashok Galla’ manager searched his bag and later he found that he USD 3000 was stolen. When Mr Srinivasa Rao Pucchakayala contacted Indian Consulate and an organization TEAM AID, Ashok Kalla sent him back to India and then got Mr Sateesh Vemuri (candidate for the Secretary) to make threatening calls on his behalf.
If Mr Sateesh Vemuri and Mr Ashok Kolla are successful in the election, it will cause severe damage to organization and its reputation.
