Taxiwaala fame Priyanka Jawalkar has been roped in an upcoming romantic entertainer in which Shiva Kandukuri, the son of Raj Kandukuri, is playing the lead role. According to the latest update, Priyanka Jawalkar was not the first choice of which Shiva Kandukuri’ film. Initially it was heard that Shriya Saran and Niharika Konidela, the daughter of Naga Babu and niece of Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan are on the board to play the female leads but now it is heard that Niharika has walked out from this project and the makers have roped Priyanka Jawalkar to play one of the female lead.
Priyanka Jawalkar will be seen in the role of a Muslim girl. The sources say that she has to express a lot with her eyes, something she feels could add to the challenges of role. The film has renowned cinematographer Gnanasekar cranking the camera as also bankrolling it.
The sources close to the film unit are tight-lipped on Niharika Konidela’ exit, while they confirm Priyanka Jawalkar is aboard. The movie was supposed to be the story of three different people in Hyderabad backdrop, with one being Shriya Saran who comes out from a slum and another one is an Independent Muslim girl played by Niharika Konidela, who has been now replaced by Priyanka Jawalkar.
