City of Rajahmundry turned yellow on the occasion of Mahanadu, the festival of the Telugu Desam Party. It became crowded with TDP leaders and workers. 15 thousand delegates are attending the program.
15 thousand delegates from Telugu states were directly invited to Mahanadu. It is estimated that 30 to 40 thousand party workers will attend on the first day. Mouth-watering dishes are being prepared for 50 thousand people. Arrangements were made to seat 15,000 people in the space allotted to the delegates. The courtyard is beautifully decorated with yellow tents and green carpets.
Party chief Chandrababu Naidu first garlanded NTR’s statue and paid tributes. After that, the representatives will sign in the register. After that all the leaders follow him. After that, the party flag will be unveiled and Mahanadu will be started. On the other hand, heavy security has been arranged for Mahanadu with 1,700 policemen. Police are taking all precautions to avoid any trouble.
Kilaru Venkata Shivaji of Vijayawada-based Ambika Catering and Events was entrusted with the cooking duties. 1,500 cooks prepared 200 dishes for the guests. 10 lakh people are expected to attend the mass public meeting on Sunday. Arrangements are being made accordingly. ]
