Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is currently working for his upcoming action entertainer Khiladi. In this film he will be seen playing the dual role. Makers have already confirmed it by releasing a new poster on the occasion of New Year. The new poster of Khiladi has led to speculations that Ravi Teja starrer is a remake of action drama Theri in which Vijay played the lead role and it was released in 2016.
Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the female lead and Dimple Hayathi as the second lead. Theri also had two actresses- Samantha Akkineni and Amy Jackson.
It is known news that earlier there was strong buzz in the film industry, that Ravi Teja will act in Theri remake under the direction of Kandireega fame director Santhosh Srinivas. However, the project never materialized but a recently released poster of Khiladi has brought back Theri remake rumors.
On the otherside, Ravi Teja is currently waiting for the release of Krack, which is the third collaboration between Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni after Don Seenu and Balupu. The cop based movie is also the second collaboration between Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan, after the movieBalupu. According to Gopichand, Krack is not a remake of any film.
