Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party BJP leader Gnanendra Prasad was found dead at his residence in the Miyapur PS limits early on 9th August. He was a leader from Serlingampally and a State Executive member of BJP.
The reports are coming that Gnanendra Prasad was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home. The reason for the suicide is not known. A case has been registered at Miyapur police station and a probe has been started to unearth the reason behind the suicide.
The police said, “A team of police was dispatched to the spot as soon as we received the information about the death of Gnanendra Prasad. A family member found the BJP leader hanging at the penthouse around 11 am. He was immediately rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead. He might have hanged himself around 9 am. The door was locked from the inside.”
According to the police, Gnanendra Prasad had been staying away from his family, in his penthouse for the past few days.
The dead body of Bharatiya Janata Party leader Gnanendra Prasad has been shifted to a local government hospital for post-mortem examination and a case under Sections 174 CrPC has been registered.
