Telangana ends Lockdown

Lockdown has been lifted in all districts of Telangana. The state cabinet has taken the decision not to continue lockdown further in the state as the  Coronavirus cases have drastically come down. The Telangana government appealed to people to adopt Covid appropriate behavior, including wearing masks, maintaining physical distance and using sanitizers.

The Government has lifted lockdown after examining reports submitted by medical and health department officials that Coronavirus cases have come down in the state and the  coronavirus is now under control. The decision by Telangana Government was taken by the state cabinet in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister KCR on Saturday.

Hyderabad Metro Rail will also resume services from Monday and it will operate from 7 am to 9 pm from 21st June.

In view of the lifting of lockdown from all districts in Telangana, the government also paved the way for reopening of  the schools. All categories of educational institutions will open from 1st July with students allowed to attend classes physically.

According to CMO, the decision to implement a total unlock was taken after the health department submitted a report stating that the corona virus situation in under control in the state.

The  lockdown was first imposed in the state on 12th  May and it was since extended multiple times.
