There’s been a controversial case running in the Telangana High Court which reads demolishing of old Assembly and Secretariat. It was heard that nearly six petitions were filed in which Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy too was part of it.
Seems to be this case has reached a corner on Monday and the High Court has given a big shock to the Telangana Government.
The court has asked the government to file the counters on which the advocate has sought 15 days time. And to this appeal, the Court has given the time for it but the court said meanwhile, all the demolition works should be halted.
This amazed the Telangana Government and it has filed a counter-petition in just a couple of hours. On the other side, social activists have filed petitions stating that Erramanzil building is a historical property and it can’t simply be demolished as the history will be wiped off. However, hearing on to this case is still awaited.
