Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced a lockdown extension in Hyderabad up to 29th May. KCR has taken this decision to save the state from going beyond control with Coronavirus spread. He pleaded the people of the state Telangana to cooperate with his decision so they can completely eradicate the deadly virus spread in the state.

Total Coronavirus cases in our country India have crossed the 46,000 mark. Over 1,500 people have died due to the coronavirus across the country. India has sent 3  ships to evacuate citizens from Maldives and UAE. The lockdown in Our country  India has been extended till 17th May.

Telangana reported 11 new Coronavirus positives today, taking the total to 1,096. There are 439 active Covid-19 cases in the state now. 628 patients were discharged.

There are a total of 35 containment zones in Telangana and 19 in them are from Hyderabad and GHMC area.

The state has decided to open liquor shops from Wednesday across all zones – red, orange and green, whereas increasing the prices by 15%. Chief Minister KCR said the state decided to open liquor shops as 4 neighbouring states, with whom Telangana shares its borders, have opened liquor outlets, leading to cross border issues supplies, along with spurious and cheap liquor.

CM KCR said the night curfew after 7 pm would be continued.
