Telangana Chief Minister KCR said all 25,937 people who had been quarantined and were under surveillance by the medical and health department authorities would be completing their 14 days quarantine period by 7th April. On Sunday, Chief Minister KCR spoke to the reporters at Pragati Bhavan after a video conference with district officials, and said, “Telangana may come out of the Covid-19 pandemic by the end of April first week, as there are no fresh cases with symptoms of the disease.”

Chief Minister KCR added, “Only one person who died due to Coronavirus, was not admitted to the hospital, after his death, he was tested positive. There are only 58 positive cases in the Telanagna State at present. Except one 76 years old man, remaining all are stable and recovering. We are hoping that they will test -ive by April first week and will be discharged.”

CM KCR further added that “Lockdown cannot be lifted  even if there are no Covid-19 cases in the Telangana state by 7th April.”

Telangana government is arranging food and water for migrant workers along with camps.

The number of coronavirus cases crossed the 1,000 mark on Sunday after 106 fresh cases were reported in the past 24 hours across the country.
