Senior actress Kavitha, who made her debut in films as a child artist, has suffered a major personal loss as she lost her son Sanjay Roop. Kavitha’ son Sanjay Roop died of Covid-19 complications and he breathed his last on Tuesday. According to reports, her husband Dasaratha Raj is also receiving treatment for Coronavirus at a private hospital and his condition is said to be critical.
The sources say that Sanjay Roop was initially kept under home isolation after testing positive for Coronavirus. However, after his health deteriorated, Sanjay was rushed to the hospital where he breathed his last.
Following the demise of her son Sanjay Roop, several people in the film industry have been offering their condolences to Kavita.
Kavitha made her debut as a child artist with Oh Manju in Tamil and Siri Siri Muvva in Telugu. She was just 11 when she started acting in the South Indian film Industry. Kavitha has acted in more than 300 films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
The senior actress is known for her supporting roles in films Chethilo Cheyyesi, Meenakshi, like Aada Paandavulu, and Yugalageetham, among others. Currently, Kavitha is playing a pivotal role in the Television show Endrndrum Punnagai.
