Recently we have reported that Telugu TV actor Prabhakar of Suryakantham and Matti Gajulu fame was tested positive for COVID-19. The actor who had resumed shooting recently, had exhibited symptoms like high fever. Following this, he had undertaken the COVID-19 test and was tested positive for coronavirus. Now according to the latest update another Telugu TV actress Navya Swamy tested positive for Coronavirus. Navya Swamy is popular for her lead roles in TV series like ‘Aame Katha’ and ‘Naa Peru Meenakshi’
Navya Swamy is in quarantine now. The management did the tests as a part of shooting routine amid the growing number of Covid-19 cases, and Navya Swamy tested positive for Coronavirus.
Telugu Television shootings were recently permitted with a set of guidelines to be adhered by the production house. While a few Television channels are already airing teasers announcing the telecast of fresh episodes of their shows. Navya Swamy along with many other actors got back to work from around 15th June. Now, all the actors, actresses and the crew members who participated in the shoot are going to be tested for Covid-19.
Till 15th June, there were 5,193 Coronavirus cases in the Telangana state. This went up to 15,394 by 29th June. After increasing the tests to over 4,000 per day on 24th June, authorities brought it down to 2,648 on 29th June.
