Terrible Friday for Bollywood MoviesThree Bollywood films – Fanney Khan, Mulk and Karwaan hit the theaters today but unfortunately all the three movies received negative responses by the movie lovers and critics. Before the release of Fanney Khan, Mulk and Karwaan, the trade analyst expected  that all the three movies will give tough competion to each other at the box office but their collections rate are giving shock to the traders. All the three movies have opened to poor response  The Trader Analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on the wall of Twitter, “Terrible terrible terrible Friday… New Hindi films open to shockingly low numbers.”

Although the three movies are based on completely different genres, and have an excellent star cast. Fanney Khan, the musical comedy starring Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Pihu Sand and Divya Dutta. The movie also has good dose of emotion.

Mulk, a courtroom drama starring Taapsee Pannu, Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, and Ashutosh Rana.

Karwaan, a light comedy film starring Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar in lead roles.

Fanney Khan, Karwaan and Mulk registered poor opening response and collected less  than Rs 10 Cr net together at the Indian box office on the first day. Sumit Kadel, an observer of Hindi film industry, wrote on the wall of Twitter, “#Karwaan #Mulk #FanneyKhan all opened with poor occupancy at the morning shows across India. #Karwaan – 8-9% #Mulk – 12-13% #FanneyKhan – 12-15%.”

 Fanney Khan had little better occupancy, when compared to two other new releases- Mulk and Karwaan. Sumit Kadel further wrote, “#Mulk & #Karwaan occupancy in noon shows is extremely poor as both the film registering mere 8-10% occupancy. #FanneyKhan leads but considering the star cast of the film occupancy is poor. 2 cr opening is also looking tough for mulk & karwaan. Fanney may surpass 2 cr today.”
