Amit Bittoo Dey, the first Bengali bisexual model in the country, has shown courage to accept and show off his gender insecureness. He is disintegrating all the snide remarks and condemnations, and setting a specimen for the LGBTQ community to emulate.
Amit is India’s well known androgynous model. He grew up along with his two sisters. He could be credited to making him an ace and makeup and fashion. He grew up with a desire to be fashioned like a girl and he got chances to do so, but reality hit him hard when he grew up and people started raising eyebrows and his sexuality. But then, he dressed himself in a saree and altered the recital.
He is a multi-professional person possessing his talents in fashion photography, film making and in interior designing, besides being a model. His images in sarees, gowns and other ladies fashions have gone viral on social media. He may be regarded as a hermaphrodite by onlookers, but his innermost embodiment is as pure as the driven snow.
