Why he has to protect his sister? How his past is linked to present? Who is the Ghost?  How he investigates the baddies behind this threat. Plus Points:

·         Nagarjuna Performance

·         Action sequences

·         BGM

·         Sword fights

Minus Points:

·         Story

·         Weak villain

Performance: It’s good to see King Nagarjuna in a stylish action avatar. His swag is cool. It’s a feast for Nagarjuna’ fans. He is terrific as Vikram, the interpol cop.  Sonal Chauhan is perfect in her role as well.  She not only shares the romantic scenes with Naga, but her major purpose in the film is to assist him, in the action sequences. Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran, as mother and daughter to each other, are fit in their roles. Rest of the cast of The Ghost perform accordingly.

Technical:  Coming on the work of Praveen Sattaru, though he  takes a familiar concept, but gives his own spin, in this film. His screenplay is tight in parts.  Mark K. Robin’ contribution with background music for this film is gigantic. He adds a lot of adrenaline rush to the action sequences and characters with his background music. Cinematography is outstanding. He has created a dark environment fit for action blocks. Editing is sharp. Dialogues are neat. The action choreography is superb. Production values are good.

Analysis:  The first half focuses on the scenes between Nagarjuna and his niece Anikha. Pre-interval episode is engaging, and the interval block is sensational.  The desert fight, the torchlight fight, and all other sword fights are highlighted. On the whole,  The Ghost is a feast to action movie lovers. Nagarjuna starrer is made for the masses and has all the ingredients to work big at the box office.
