Naga Shourya and Rashmika Mandanna’s Chalo, which was released on 2nd February, seems to have won the race at the box-office, with the film exceeding expectations, especially overseas. The film, which released along with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, Raashi Khanna & Seerat Kapoor starrer ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ on Friday, has already crossed the $200,000 mark on Friday and is poised for more by the end of the weekend.
Trade analyst Jeevi shared the collection figure of Chalo on his Twitter, he wrote, “#Chalo collects $133,809 from 106 USA locations with per location average of $1,262 on Friday and total gross is $227,377. excellent. Might touch half million mark by Sunday if this flow continues!”
Traders also revealed that Venky Kudumula’s directorial venture Chalo has also had a steady start to the domestic box-office, whereas Mass Maharaja’s Touch Chesi Chudu is having a disappointing run.
