LK Advani, the very known name as one of the senior and powerful leaders of BJP. He used to be as the National President of the saffron party during 2005. However, his scope of growth in the party crashed as soon as he praised went down Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who is the founder of Pakistan. Advani called Jinnah as the secular which sparked the controversy in RSS. Upon this, Advani was forced to resign as the BJP president and Rajnath Singh was made as to the saffron head later.
Advani has become as the testimonial to the party people. Recently, JPS Rathore who is the BJP’s vice president for Uttar Pradesh state told that no person is above the ideologies and ethics of the party and everyone has to abide by this. He further said, “Take the case of Advani ji, he drifted from the party’s ideology and had to pay the price”.
The BJP leader also cited the examples of Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh and Gujarat BJP veteran Shankersinh Vaghela.
He further cited Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh and Gujrat “Kalyan Singh resigned to BJP in 2009 but returned to the party in 2014. The same case with Vaghela. He is nowhere to be seen these days,” said Rathore.
However, Advani’s issue is being reckoned as a case study for party cadre training and this shows BJP doesn’t want to encourage any sort of groups in the cadre.
