Vijay Deverakonda‘s maiden Pan-India film, Liger was released yesterday on 25th August.. After touring the entire country for promotions and creating enough buzz among the moviegoers, Puri Jagannadh’s Liger, also starring Ananya Panday was finally out for the audience and on its release day, the movie received mixed response by the movie lovers from everywhere. The reports are also coming that Mumbai theatre owner criticized Vijay Deverakonda for his comments on the boycott trend and blamed the Telugu actor for negative reviews of Liger.
Recently during an interview, Executive Director of Gaiety Galaxy and Maratha Mandir Cinema Manoj Desai criticized Vijay Deverakonda for his comments on the boycott trend. He also blamed Vijay for negative reviews of the film Liger after its opening day. The theater owner said, “Why are you Vijay Deverakonda showing smartness by saying – Boycott our movie? People won’t even watch on OTT. Such type of your behavior has put us in trouble and impacting our advance bookings. Mr Vijay Deverakonda , you are anaconda and also talking like an anaconda. When the time of destruction inches closer, the mind stops working, and you are doing that.”
It is known that Vijay Deverakonda was recently asked about the boycott Liger trend in a recent interview, to which he had said, ‘Kaun rokenge dekh lenge’.
