We have already reported that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh government has issued a new order revising the low-cap on movie ticket prices. The government has increased the base ticket price across different categories of theatres. However, the new order comes with few conditions. The new rates are exclusive of GST but inclusive of theatre maintenance charges (Rs 3 for non AC, 5 for AC) and they also include the fee for online ticketing services. The govt announced that biggies, Radhe Shyam and RRR are eligible to hike prices for 10 days.
Radhe Shyam has finally hit the theaters today. The movie marks the first collaboration of Prabhas with Pooja Hegde. Now according to the latest report, AP Revenue officials have seized the theater where Radhe Shyam benefit show was held. The incident took place in Rajam town of Srikakulam district.
The Andhra Pradesh government has issued directions not to hold the benefit shows. When the revenue officials came to know about the benefit show of Radhe Shyam, they reached there and asked the theater owner to stop the show. AP Revenue officials also seized the theater.
Radhe Shyam, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and produced by UV creations, set in the backdrop of 1970’s Europe has created much hype among the masses as it showed Prabhas in a character called Vikramaditya.
