Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed confidence that the Congress party will come to power in Telangana. He commented that there will be no sign of BJP in Telangana after the assembly elections.

He said that the Congress party, which won the Karnataka assembly elections recently, is ready to defeat the BJP in Telangana as well as other states. Rahul Gandhi made these comments at a dinner organized by the Indian Overseas Congress-US in New York.

TPCC chief Revanth Reddy, Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, TPCC campaign committee chairman Madhuyashki Goud, former minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah, TPCC vice president Chamala Kiran Kumar and others attended the dinner meeting. New York City Mayor Eric Adams also attended the event. Congress leaders, supporters and expatriate Indians also gathered in large numbers.

On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi said, “We have shown in Karnataka that we can defeat the BJP has not only been defeated.  We destroyed them in Karnataka. They did everything there was to do. They have 10 times more money than we have. They have the government, investigative agencies  everything. But we managed to defeat them. I want to inform you that we are going to exterminate them in Telangana next.”
