The actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna walked the extra mile to help a patient. Apparently, the actor’s affection towards a 7 years old little girl, who was suffering from cancer, turned out to be a huge morale boost, as per some reports. According to the latest report, Nandamuri Balakrishna came to the rescue of a cancer ridden little girl.
The girl named Manisri from Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, was recently admitted to the Basavatarakam Cancer Research Institute for the cancer treatment which is headed by Balayya Babu.
A native of Malkajgiri, Manisri was diagnosed with cancer. She was undergoing treatment at Basavatarakam Cancer Research Institute . She hails from a poor family and her parents were not able to afford Rs 7 Lakhs for the surgery. They managed only Rs 1.80 lakhs through loans and donations. Later her parents approached Balakrishna’ fan club and when Lion star came to know about this, he came forward for the help and immediately waived off the pending Rs 5.80 lakhs for the operation.
On the work front, Balakrishna will be seen sharing the screen space with Kanche fame Pragya Jasiwal in an action drama Akhanda which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu who is known for making mass masala movies.
