Nandamuri Balakrishna is coming up with an action drama Ruler which is directed by KS Ravikumar. The movie has already completed the censor formalities and is gearing up for grand release on 20th December. But according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Ruler is facing theater scarcity which is like a Thunderclap for Nandamuri Balakrishna. It is known news that Balakrisha has delivered back to back commercially flop movies and his previous offerings- NTR biopic failed to create any magic. Balakrishna is banking on mass masala formula to make sure that his fans get their thirst fulfilled.
Balakrishna starrer action drama Ruler is going to compete with Mega hero Sai Dharan Tej starrer Parti Roju Pandage, Karthi starrer Donga and Bollywood star Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3 (Telugu version), which are also arriving at the theaters on the same date i.e 20th December.
It is becoming tough for thirsty Balakrishna to acquire the theaters for his film Ruler as many theatres are already locked by some distributors. The sources revealed that C Kalyan is trying to acquire the theatres from all the big exhibitors.
Noted producer and distributor Suresh Babu and Allu Aravind have already booked the theaters for their movies Dabangg 3 and Donga respectively. As Sai Dharam Tej’ family entertainer movie Parti Roju Pandage, is produced under the banner of Geetha Arts, this will not face scarcity of theatres. Finally Balakrishna starrer Ruler is facing theater scarcity problem.
In Ruler, Balakrishna is playing the role of a ferocious cop. It features Vedhika and Sonal Chauhan in the female leads. It is bankrolled by C Kalyan of C K Entertainment whereas music is composed by Chirantan Bhatt, who earlier composed for Balayya’ films like ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ and ‘Jai Simha’. Bhumika Chawla is also the part of Balakrishna starrer action drama Ruler.
