The young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda, who is currently awaiting the release of his latest bilingual project with the pan-India release- Liger, has teamed up with Liger’s director Puri Jagannadh for an upcoming film which is titled Jana Gana Mana. The team at Puri Connects- Charmme Kaur and Puri Jagannadh have already announced the film and the launch event was held in March. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Rashmika Mandanna will be seen shaking a leg for the special song in Vijay Deverakonda starrer Jana Gana Mana. This made the fans happy but the sources close to the team of Jana Gana Mana confirmed that this news are false and the makers are not in any such plans.
The film Jana Gana Mana is a patriotic drama and there is no scope for a special song. Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the female lead.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna for years, have been rumored to be in a relationship. The two of them are often spotted together on several occasions and dinners. They have worked together in two films earlier- Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
Jana Gana Mana will be released in five languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
