It is known fact that Bollywood director Om Raut is working with Prabhas for an upcoming much awaited big budget drama Adipurush. There have been lots of expectations revolving around the project Adipurush. Though the first-look poster was unveiled in August 2020, the film went floors on 2nd February in the presence of the cast and crew but later the shoot was halted due to the 2nd wave of the Coronavirus and lockdown. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, CMD of T-Series, Adipurush will feature actor Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist and he will be seen in the role of Lankesh and Kriti Sanon in the role of Goddess Sita. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Adipurush is going to beat Baahubali in the term of VFX shots.
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush will be made on a lavish budget of Rs 400 Cr. A huge amount of the money will be spent on VFX shots of Om Raut’ magnum opus, which is an important part of the film. The makers have already roped in VFX supervisors of Star Wars and Avatar to work on the graphics of the film.
The sources say that apparently Adipurush will have 8000 VFX shots, which is almost 3 times the number of VFX shots used in SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus Baahubali. Baahubali had 2500 VFX shots.
