Thunivu Box office Collections: Recently released Tamil blockbusters continue to hold steady at the box office in their third week. After a head-to-head competition in the opening week, Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar are giving a tough fight at ticket windows after 9 years with their movies Varisu and Thunivu respectively. Thunivu featuring Ajith Kumar as a baddie has its theatrical release on Jan 11 on the eve of Sankranthi, and the film peaked at the box office on its opening day. The action drama which is helmed by H Vinod, continues to get solid responses from fans and movie lovers. As per the reports, ‘Thunivu’ has crossed Rs 225 Cr marks at the Worldwide box office.

Ajith starrer film is also performing well in overseas locations and it has become Tamil star’ all time best collection. Ajith and Manju Warrier are playing the main roles in this actioner ‘Thunivu’ and they take on a mission to send a message to fans about the banking scams.
Apart from them, H Vinod’ magnum opus also has Samuthirakani, Veera, Mohana Sundaram, John Kokken, and Darshan h in the important roles. It has the music by Ghibran.
