It is known that former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia is in judicial custody in liquor scam. Manish Sisodia is currently in Tihar Jail in Delhi. On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party- AAP has alleged that there are hardened criminals and murderers in the jail cell and the conspiracies are being made to kill Sisodia.
Officials of Prisoners Department of Tihar Jail responded to these allegations, keeping Sisodia’s safety in mind, they said that they have kept him in a special ward. They said that he was kept in CJ-1 ward, that ward has very few prisoners and none of them are gangsters. He said that the inmates in that ward are well-behaved. He said that full security has been provided to Sisodia as per the jail rules.
Finally Delhi prisons department trashed the Aam Aadmi Party’s allegation of a plot to murder its senior leader Manish Sisodia in Tihar jail. The Delhi prisons department also said that separate cell makes it possible for him to meditate or do such other activities without any disturbance. All the arrangements, as per the Jail Rules, are in place to ensure Manish Sisodia safety and security.
The former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia bail petition will be taken up on Friday.
