The Writer, director, and producer Ramigani Madan Mohan Reddy aka Madan, breathed his last after a four days long battle for life. Mohan Reddy suffered a brain stroke 4 days ago and was admitted to Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. In spite of several efforts, the doctors couldn’t save him. Unfortunately, Madan breathed his last in the wee hours of Sunday in the hospital.

Madan started his career as a screenwriter for director Chandra Siddhartha’s Aa Naluguru  which had Rajendra Prasad, later on,  he  directed several family oriented movies. He was renowned for  the dialogues, screenplay, and story, besides being a successful film director and producer.  He is best known for helming the movies- Garam, Coffee with my wife, Gunde Jhallumandi,  and Gayatri. His last film was Gayathri, which had Mohan Babu in the lead role.

Madan Reddy was born in Madanapalle. Though he made fewer movies, he made an impact on the Telugu film audience.  His filmography included many movies with Jagapathi Babu, who is well-known as a family hero.

Several celebrities mourned the death of the director. The last rites of Madan Mohan Reddy will take place today in Hyderabad. We at tollywood.net express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
