The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has intensified its investigations to gather key evidence, including the arrest of heroines such as Sanjana Galrani. The NCB has also named some movie stars as accused in the case. The Bangalore police also co-operated with them, proving that many bigwigs were involved in this. However, they did not leak who they were.
It is known without saying that Sandalwood and drug cases have created quite a stir in Bollywood. It has been proven that the drug case is not beyond the reach of Tollywood. The Telangana Excise Department had filed a memo in the High Court regarding the case and it was argued that the court had not received any details from the Enforcement Directorate officials. The Telangana Excise Department said that the digital records, FSL, call data and reports were handed over to the ED.
However, the ED did not submit the call data to the court. That was immediately counter-filed by the Telangana government. So far Tollywood has information that EDI is ready to re-investigate the digital records and call data provided by the Excise Department and probe the cine celebrities again.
