In the midst of holding crucial discussions about issues evolving in the Telugu film industry these days, the active producers’ guild has revealed an important update about OTT releases. There have been numerous discussions and developments made by the producers council since weeks.
Now, one of the most useful settlements has come to light. It is known that the Active Producers Guild agreed to an 8-week gap between the movie releases from their theatrical releases. The producers unanimously announced that movies will arrive on OTT platforms, only after 8 weeks of their theatrical releases. They also stressed that this rule is applicable for all kinds of movies, whether they are hits or flops.
Also, some other producers have agreed to revise the OTT deals for the forthcoming biggest films. The character actors will not be paid on a regular basis and the remuneration would be per film. More confirmations will be announced soon in the coming days. Mostly, Tollywood shootings will resume from the 22nd of this month.
