A S*x racket is busted in the United States and the USA police have arrested a Telugu  Couple.  The high profile prostitution racket in Chicago was running by Kishan Modugumudi alias Vibha Jayam (34) and his wife Chandra  Modugumudi alias Chennupati (31).  The couple allegedly lured Tollywood actresses and anchors to the US in the name of conferences and events.

The Tollywood couple advertise them (actresses) for s*x at Indian conferences and cultural events across the country. The actresses are bought to USA by Telugu couple on temporary visas. The Telugu couple Kishan Modugumudi and Chandra  Modugumudi charged clients up to $3,000 for each sexual encounter, according to a 42 page criminal complaint filed in US District Court in Chicago.

According to the police report, at least five actresses from Tollywood were sometimes forced to stay in a dingy, two-story apartment building in Chicago’s Belmont Cragin neighborhood waiting for their next date. The actresses also met clients in hotels at conferences in Dallas, New Jersey and Washington.

Kishan Modugumudi who is said to be the mastermind of this prostitution racket has also co-produced several hit films.  The police said, Kishan Modugumudi also threatened the life of one of the actresses and her family if she told about this prostitution racket  and what she did in US.

Kishan Modugumudi’s wife, Chandra (Chennupati) allegedly kept detailed ledgers of the s*x acts performed by each actress, including where they occurred and how much they collected the money. Federal agents  found more than 70 condoms divided up into multiple Ziplock bags.

The US Police  have conducted an operation for the last few months and nabbed the culprits. They also seized their mobiles and took their call records and SMS of  Tollywood couple with actresses and their clients.

According to the reports, 200,000 women and children in India are forced into prostitution every year, many lured by opportunities to model or act in movies.
