Telugu film industry made a foray into sports dramas in 1990s and includes an element of sports in movies. Naga Vamsi who is known for the emotional sports drama Jersey starring Natural Star Nani and Shraddha Srinath, is all set to come up with another sport based movie, based on basketball.
We have already reported that Nani and Shraddha Srinath starrer Jersey won the National award for the best regional film and the best editing. The movie was based on cricket in which Nani was seen playing the role of a middle age cricketer, which was bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments.
Now the reports are coming that Naga Vamsi has decided to produce another sport drama based on basketball, which will be helmed by Krishna and his Leela fame Ravikanth Perepu. The script work has already started and the makers are planning to rope a top actor to play the basketball. Now we have to wait and see that who will play the lead role in this film.
