It is known that Bollywood top actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been accused of accepting gifts worth crores from conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Srilankan lady has earlier been summoned twice for questioning by Delhi Police. Now according to the latest update, today Jacqueline Fernandez was granted interim bail on bond of Rs 50,000 in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. The actress had appeared at the court as an accused in connection with a RS 200 crore extortion case linked to alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Additional sessions judge Shailender Malik sought a response from ED on the actress’s bail plea. Till the ED files its response, the petition for her regular bail will remain pending in court. The next hearing in the case will be held on 22nd October.
Earlier, the ED, which is probing the case against conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, had questioned the actress for eight hours. This came after the probe agency filed a charge sheet on 17th August naming Jacqueline Fernandez as an accused in the case.
Kick actress was gifted jewellery worth over Rs 7 crore by Sukesh Chandrasekhar. He had also gifted several high end cars, expensive bags, shoes, clothes, and costly watches to her and her family members.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar has spent around 20 crore on different models and Bollywood celebrities which a few refused to accept.
