While some say, Triple Talaq is complete charade against the minorities and some believe it is required for the men or women who are irked up. Irrespective of other’s opinion, Rajya Sabha has passed the Triple Talaq bill yesterday. The bill was passed with the support of 99 votes major of BJP and 84 votes in opposition. Many leaders expressed their hatred by walking out of the session in Rajya Sabha. Whereas, the bill was passed in Lok Sabha on July 25th.

Now, it is just a step left for presidential assent to turn out as the law. Triple Talaq bill states that a married man can divorce their married women by just uttering the word “Talaq” three times verbally/written manner/electronic communication. A penal offense prescribes a penalty of three years imprisonment and also provides for subsistence allowance to married Muslim women and their children.

On this several social organizations are gearing up to write a letter to President Ram Nath Kovind to stop assenting this Triple Talaq bill as this may result in the disruption several women lives. Well, there is a saying that marriage is the bond for a lifetime and if this bill gonna break it with a word spelled/written for three times, then there is no meaning for marriage.
