After teaming up on the young actor Satyadev‘s action entertainer Lion in 2015, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Trisha Krishnan are all set to reunite for Gopichand Malineni’ upcoming directorial venture. According to the latest buzz, Trisha Krishnan has been roped in this film to play the female lead. Now the role of Nayaki actress has been revealed. Trisha Krishnan is playing the role of a housewife in this big budget entertainer of Balakrishna starrer. The upcoming yet to be titled film marks Trisha Krishnan’ comeback after horror drama Nayaki which was released in 2016.
The sources say that when Gopichand Malineni approached Trisha Krishnan, she agreed to allocate bulk dates for the film. She is yet to sign the dotted line, but if everything falls in place, this film will mark her return to Telugu film Industry after five years.
The upcoming drama is based on true incidents, and it is billed as a cop drama and will feature Nandmuri Balakrishna as a powerful police officer.
Balakrishna and Gopichand Mailneni’ film is a big budget drama, which is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. The yet-to-be-titled film is expected to go on the floor by the end of this year, soon after Balakrishna wraps up Akhanda, helmed by Boyapati Srinu.
