South beauty Trisha Krishnan has been ruling the south Indian film industry as a leading actress for more than twenty years. She was into modeling during her college days and won Miss Salem and Miss Chennai beauty pageants in the year 1999.  She also participated in Miss India pageant and won a special award for her cute smile. Later Trisha tested her luck in the film industry and made her debut as a lead actress with romantic entertainer Mounam Pesiyadhe in 2002. Her hard work made her gain fame, and she signed back to back movies.  She is a well known face for Telugu,  Tamil and Kannada film industry.   Her popular movies are Saamy, Ghilli, Abhiyum Nanum , Sarvam  and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. Trisha  Krishnan was supposed to do a social message oriented movie Acharya but she backed out due to some issues and later the makers brought Kajal Aggarwal on the board to play the female lead.

Now, Trisha Krishnan is concentrating on her Tamil films and  there is a strong buzz in the film industry that she  is not showing any interest to sign Telugu movies. Trisha Krishnan is at a stage in her career where she wants to do meaty roles.

The sources say that Trisha Krishnan does not want to do the regular dance in the movie that is the main reason she is rejecting  commercial movies in Tollywood, and Kollywood.
