We have already reported that Tamil actor Suriya starrer Tamil film Jai Bhim and Mohanlal’s Malayalam actioner Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham have been shortlisted for Oscars 2022 (94th Academy Awards). The court room drama is helmed by TJ Gnanavel, and it is all about the fight for the oppressed and caste-based discrimination. The film has Suriya in the role of real-life lawyer Chandru, who dedicated his life fighting for the oppressed without charging a single penny. Suriya’ fans are going gaga on social media as they already are looking forward to seeing the movie Jai Bhim in the Oscars nomination for ‘Best Picture’.
