Trump calls Kashmir “a very complicated place”

US President Donald Trump who is being dragged into Jammu and Kashmir issue has said to the media that Jammu and Kashmir is a very complicated place. He further said that there is a lot to do with religion and expressing his views as both Pakistan and India have not gotten along well from a long time calling it as an explosive situation.

Trump said to the media at White House, “Kashmir is a very complicated place. You have Hindus and you have the Muslims and I wouldn’t say they get along so great,” Trump further addressed India and Pakistan to hold talks hence they will reduce the tension and he will do the best he can to mediate the Kashmir issue.

Trump has reportedly asked Pak PM Imran to tone down in rhetoric manner after having 30 min long phone conversation with PM Modi. On the other hand, Pak will be approaching the International Court of Justice over India’s decision of abrogating special status to Jammu and Kashmir. On to this UN Indian envoy Syed Akbaruddin, said, “Every country is entitled to use every course available to them. We have different approaches too. If they would like to tackle us in different arenas, we will address it in that arena. This is an arena of their choice. They tried once, but they did not succeed.”
