After giving a try to settle the issues between India and Pakistan after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A) in Jammu and Kashmir, US President Donald Trump has told that he will be meeting the Prime Ministers of both the countries i.e. India and Pakistan.
From the reports, it was known that Trump would be addressing a mega event “Howdy Modi!” along with PM Modi which is scheduled on September 22 at Houston. However, US Prez didn’t left a clue as to how and when he would be meeting the Pakistan PM Imran Khan. On answering to a question of media reporters, Trump said that “I’ll see Prime Minister Modi and I will — we’ll — be meeting with (prime ministers of) India and Pakistan”.
As Per the reports, it was clear that Trump will meet a whopping crowd of 50,000 Ind-Americans at the “Howdy Modi!” event, later American Prez Trump would be flying to Ohio, later to New York for attending the Annual General Assembly Sessions of the United Nations.
Whereas, without taking the name of Kashmir, Trump diplomatically spilled the beans on Pak and India saying a “lot of progress has been made in reducing tension”. However, it has to wait and see how India and Pak PM’s would be responding to Trump.
