A security researcher said on Wednesday that the  Hackers stole email addresses of more than 200 million Twitter users and posted them on an online hacking forum. lon Gal, co-founder of Israeli cybersecurity monitoring firm Hudson Rock, wrote on LinkedIn and he  called it – one of the most significant leaks I have seen. Twitter has not commented on the report, which lon Gal first posted about on social media on 24th December , nor responded to inquiries about the breach since that date.

According to Hudson Rock, the database contains  the devastating amounts of information, including phone numbers and e-mails of high-profile users. Hudson Rock shared several screenshots of the post on his twitter account. The  sources revealed  that hacker claimed he had also offered a deal to the Twitter.

There were no clues to the identity or  the location of hacker or hackers behind the breach.
