Sankranthi is a major festival season for the Telugu States and Tollywood will depend a lot on this lucrative season. However, owing to the current situation it is said that Sankranthi is not going to be that exciting. Still the virus is not nullified and the vaccine hasn’t arrived yet.
So, the makers, distributors, and exhibitors are having second thoughts about releasing more movies at a time. Still, there is only 50 percent occupancy in the theaters. So, makers who have scheduled their release dates for Sankranthi are now postponing their movies.
Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab which was supposed to release for Sankranthi will now be pushed back to Summer. This decision was made after Dil Raju held a discussion with the distributors.
Another mega hero Vaishnav Tej’s Uppena has been postponed as well. It was already in postpone mode for the past 9 months.
