Malayalam superstar Mohanlal celebrated his 60 th birthday yesterday. Several Telugu stars took to their social media to wish Mohanlal on this occasion. Venkatesh Daggubati called Mohanlal his ‘dear Lalettan’. Venkatesh Daggubati had starrer in the Telugu remake of Mohanlal starrer Drishyam in the year 2014, which was a successful movie of film industry. What’s more, even Megastar Chiranjeevi, who will be seen playing the lead role of Mohanlal starrer Lucifer remake, also wished the star.
Chiranjeevi who is an active user of social media sites took to Twitter and shared s pic of him with Mohanlal, and he wrote, “Happy 60th Birthday my dear Lalettan Mohanlal Proud to be in the film industry in the same period as a Versatile Acting Legend and Superstar like you. May you continue to inspire and enrich the acting fraternity and delight the audience for many many years to come.”
Mohanlal shares a great bond with Tollywood. In Tollywood he was first seen in the Telugu film Gandeevam in 1994, in which he essayed the role of a cameo. Later, he played a full-fledged role in Manamanta, which was released in 2016. Mohanlal is also popular for sharing the screen space with Jr NTR in Janatha Garage.
