 Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wished the people of Telangana a happy Ugadi festival. The Chief Minister wished ‘Shubhakrut’ a happy new year to all sections of the people.

‘Shubhakrut’ expressed confidence that the Telangana would make further progress in the year, paving the way for unprecedented development in all sectors. He tweeted:
Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao conveyed #Ugadi festive greetings to the people of Telangana. Hon’ble CM hoped that the year #Shubhakrut, which itself means auspiciousness, will bring good fortune to the people of all walks of life. Hon’ble CM said that Telangana has ushered in unprecedented development in all the sectors and expressed confidence that Telangana will progress further in the year of #Shubhakrut.

Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundarajan also extended greetings to Telangana people and to Telugu people across the world.

Tamilisai Soundarajan  said that the Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope and that New Year shall bring with it new cheer and a bright future. On this auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year Day, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Telangana and to Telugu people across the World.”

She said that she is  confident that Sri Shobhakruthu Nama Samvatsaram will usher in peace, harmony, prosperity, health, and happiness to all people and sections of the society.
