Unexpected Chennai Blind warrior in Telugu remake

Siddharth who has been the part for several movies in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam language films, is making his comeback in Tollywood once again. In the late 2000s, Siddharth established himself as a bankable lead actor in Telugu films and subsequently chose to become more selective with his projects, while also winning acclaim for his work as a carrom player in Striker and as a blind warrior in the fantasy film Anaganaga O Dheerudu, which was released in 2011. Now once again this blind warrior Siddharth is all set to act in Telugu remake of Bollywood blockbuster movie Andhadhun that featured Ayushman Khurana in the leading role. Those who have watched Andhadhun knows well that Ayushman Khurana played the role of blind man.

Earlier it was heard that either Naga Chaitanya or any other top Telugu hero will play the lead role in Telugu remake of Andhadhun but now the makers have approached Siddharth.

Siddharth was born to a Tamil-speaking family in Chennai and now this Chennai guy will reprise the role of Ayushman Khurana in Andhadhun remake. In Tollywood Siddharth was last seen in Gruham, which was just average at the box office.

Andhadhun, an edge-of-the-seat thriller about a blind pianist, has also topped IMDb charts as the best Indian movie of last year.

Apart from Ayushman Khurana, the film has Tabu and Radhika Apte in female lead. It is heard that Trisha Krishnan will essay the role of Radhika Apte.

If everything will go accordingly, this is the fourth time Trisha and Siddharth will work together for Telugu remake of Andhadhun after Nuvvostanante Nenoddanta, Yuva and Aranmai 2.
