Recently we have reported that Puri Jagannadh’s Puri Connects filed a complaint with Hyderabad Cyber-crime Police, alleging that an Instagram user named Murali Krishna is demanding money from him to delete the script of iSmart Shankar, which he posted on his account. In the complainant, Puri Jagannadh, said, “On 6th June, we noticed that some persons have uploaded a part of the script of my upcoming directorial venture iSmart Shankar on Instagram. When we asked the admin of Instagram admin, Murali Krishna, to take down the script, he demanded money and threatened to post the entire scripts if his demands were not met.” Now it is being heard that it’s a publicity stunt by the team of iSmrat Shankar.
Netizens are saying that Puri Jagannadh and his producer Charmme Kaur are doing publicity stunts to get attention to their upcoming project iSmart Shankar. They are also saying that any such stunts don’t work because the audiences like message oriented movie.
Ram Pothineni and Nidhhi Agerwal is also playing the female lead in the film, which has the music by Mani Sharma. Ismart Shankar is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur. The film has Brahmanandam, Ashish Vidyarthi, Joy Badlani, Sayaji Shinde, Tanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh, Pavithra Lokesh, Aziz Naser and Vishu Reddy in supporting roles.
