Few days ago Mohanlal announced production of his new film Monster and unveiled its first look. The upcoming film Monster will be directed by Vysakh, who worked with the actor for the 2016 action thriller Pulimurugan. The poster featured the 61 years old actor wearing a turban. His character in the film is called Lucky Singh.
Now according to the latest report, Manchu Lakshmi has been roped in Mohanlal starrer Monster to play the female lead. Antony Perumbavoor, the producer of his upcoming period drama Marakkar, is also on board as the producer for Monster. The movie also has Pulimurugan screenwriter Uday Krishna on board for the project.
Yesterday Manchi Lakshmi herself confirmed her inclusion in Mohanlal starrer Monster by sharing a post on twitter where she said: The cat is finally out of the bag!! New Language, New Genre!!! Super duper excited to be shooting My first Malayalam film with the one and only!! Cannot wait to showcase what we’ve got in store for you. Having the best time shooting this film Mohanlal.
Though few of her fans are praising Lakshmi Manchu for this film whereas few are trolling her. One netizen said: Hope you will learn some real acting from him ( not over acting, self dabba, useless krama sikshana and egoism). You will have chance to see a LEGEND and learn and will learn why some CELEBRITIES will never become LEGENDS. Another netizen said: Iron leg pettindi, inka movie damaaal..! whereas one of her fans praised and wrote: Unstoppable.
