SS Rajamouli and Mega Power Star Ram Charan’ historic and fantasy drama Magadheera, has completed the 10 years. The movie was released on 31st July 2009 and it was ended up blockbuster at the box office. As Magadheera has completed 10 years today, Ram Charan took to his Instagram and wrote, “Can’t believe it’s been a decade already! Still seems so recent! A big thank you to the dream team of #Magadheera, Keeravaani garu, @kajalaggarwalofficial & @geethaarts for this memorable film. @ssrajamouli garu, learned so much from you back then and continuing to do so even now. #10YearsofMagadheera”. Ram Charan’ wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela is also celebrating the 10 years of Magadheera.
Ram Charan also shared few posters and working pics from the Magadheera. Upasana Kamineni Konidela also shared a small video of Magadheera on her Instagram and captioned it, “A very special film ! #magadheera will be cherished forever @alwaysramcharan #10yearsofmagadheera.”
Magadheera is written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Based on the theme of reincarnation, the film was produced by Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts. Kajal Aggarwal played the female lead whereas Dev Gill and Srihari appeared in prominent roles.
Magadheera won the National Award for Best Choreography and Best Special Effects at the 57th National Film Awards as well as winning six Filmfare Awards, nine Nandi Awards and ten CineMAA Awards.
