Kannada star hero Upendra is very choosy when it comes to playing character roles in other language films. He was last seen in S/o Satyamurthy for Telugu films. After that many filmmakers have approached with exciting stories but the star actor wasn’t convinced. As per the latest update, Upendra is playing an important role in Varun Tej’s upcoming sports drama which is being directed by debutante Kiran Korrapati. Varun Tej will be seen as a boxer in the movie.
As per the reliable information, it is said that Upendra is playing the Father character to Varun Tej. It is said that though the movie is a sports drama, there is a crucial Father-Son bonding that will touch the hearts. Upendra turning to Father roles for the first time is surely an exciting thing.
This movie’s shoot will resume in September. Already a schedule was wrapped before lockdown. SS Thaman is the music director for this movie. Bollywood actress Saiee Manjrekar is the female lead.
