Another mega hero Sai Tej’s brother Panja Vaishnav Tej is debuting with the film Uppena which has completed shooting and is awaiting the release date. Uppena is initially scheduled for release on April 2nd but it has to be postponed due to corona virus scare. The movie has been in promotions and the two released songs of the film were received to superb response. Both Panja Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty who is debuting as female lead have received positive response.
Now that April 2nd date was missed, makers of Uppena are thinking to change the release date to May 7th. This is the same release date of Arya, Sukumar’s debut film as director. Now that Sukumar is one of the producers of Uppena this film will bring some nostalgic factor and sentiment to the film.
Buchi Babu Sana, the protege of Sukumar is debuting as director for the movie. Mythri Movie Makers are the production house behind the project. We have to wait and see whether this release date is going to be possible or not given the latest circumstances. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for the film.
