Uppena Collections: The release of the Mega family’s latest hero Vaishnav Tej has now become the hot topic on social media. The young actor made his debut in Telugu film industry with the movie Uppena. On its opening day, Uppena, which is helmed by Bucchi Babu Sana, collected Rs 9.35 Cr on its opening day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
On day 2, the movie collected Rs 6.86 Cr from Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which makes it an overall collection of Rs 16.21 Cr+. Uppena has Krithi Shetty as the leading lady. Despite being the debut film of hero, heroine and the director, the film Uppena had a big release in the USA market and it collected 1.2 lakh dollars within 2 days. The traders are expecting the film to mint nearly 3 lakh dollars by the end of its run at the USA box office.
On the otherside, recently released movie Krack starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan earned only 1.3 lakh dollars.
Now Vaishnav Tej starrer romantic movie Uppena holds the record of becoming the highest grossing film with a new hero in Telugu states. It has also grabbed the second spot after Vijay Deverakonda starrer Dear Comrade for two tier stars worldwide.
