Panja Vaishnav Tej is making his debut with the movie Uppena. The film has completed its shooting almost 10 months back and has initially scheduled the release date for April 2, 2020. However then, the COVID pandemic happened and the release has been postponed.
Though there were offers from the digital platforms for a direct to OTT release, the makers refrained. Now with the theaters are opened and the audiences are willing to come to the theaters, the makers of Uppena have confirmed the new release date. Uppena will be released on February 12th.
Krithi Shetty is making her debut as well. She is the female lead. Event the director Buchi Babu Sana is making his debut with Uppena. Mythri Movie Makers has produced this movie.
